Mitch Williams, DPM

Dr. Williams, originally from Fort Worth and a graduate of the University of Arkansas, joined Advanced Foot & Ankle in 2016. He is a graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During the last year of podiatry school, Dr. Williams trained at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas doing extensive work in diabetic wound care and limb salvage. In 2008, he completed a three-year surgical residency in reconstructive foot & ankle surgery at Presbyterian Hospital in Greenville, Texas while working with many physicians in and around Dallas.

Dr. Williams’ professional interests include all aspects of trauma and reconstructive forefoot, rear foot, and ankle surgery as well as sports medicine. His training includes bunion and flat foot correction, as well as diabetic limb salvage and wound care. During residency, Dr. Williams had the privilege of completing a Reconstructive Rear Foot and Ankle fellowship in Germany and Austria.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine as well as Board Qualified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rear Foot/Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Texas Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Williams bases his practice on successful patient-doctor communication, compassion, and patient education. Dr. Williams enjoys college sports, snow-skiing, and competing in triathlons when time permits. He lives with his wife and daughter in Fort Worth.
